Short Introduction;

Robert is an architect and furniture maker living on the Beara peninsula in West Cork.

Having graduated with distinction from the prestigious course at The Furniture College Letterfrack, he went on to study architecture at the Dublin School of Architecture, DIT and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Art.

White working with Solearth Ecological Architecture he completed his postgraduate professional practice training with University College Dublin and was successfully awarded membership of The Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland.

Since then he has established himself in Architecture practice offering his services throughout Ireland and internationally.

As part of his continual professional development he has successfully completed numerous in depth trainings including, project management, near zero energy building, building energy rating, passive house, permaculture design and traditional geomancy.

With an ethical design approach in architecture his interest lies in creating sustainable and healthy buildings that are in harmony with their environment and users.

The original pieces of furniture he designs and crafts combine the natural beauty of wood with intricate detail, contrasting colours and complimentary materials, to produce innovative and functional items that have a balanced aesthetic.

The dialogue between all involved in a project is an integral part of his design process and key to ensuring that the end product is in tune with the aspirations, budget and timescale of his clients.
